Welcome to the web site for the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago, the original 'National School of Physiotherapy' for New Zealand; the School was originally established in 1913, making it one of the oldest physiotherapy schools in the world.

We can help you:

Become a fully qualified physiotherapist
You may obtain a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. On graduation you will be eligible for registration as a qualified Physiotherapist in New Zealand and many other countries.

Advance your physiotherapy qualifications
You can gain postgraduate physiotherapy qualifications. Obtain a postgraduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters degree.

Investigate research at the school
Find out what research is being undertaken at the school and the results of previous research. If you want to study for a Doctorate then find information here. Select from the doctoral topics offered or propose your own within our research themes.

Locate a physiotherapy treatment and teaching clinic
Find a physiotherapy clinic in Dunedin, Christchurch or Wellington. Receive treatment from a highly qualified staff member or fully supervised students.
